Build your expertise and certify more individuals with the Salesforce Partner Program voucher benefit. Learn how to request your voucher codes, which exams can be purchased with vouchers, information on rescheduling an exam, and information on voucher expiration.
Salesforce AppExchange (ISV), Consulting, Cloud Reseller, and MSP partners are eligible to receive free vouchers to cover the cost of certification exams. To request your free certification vouchers, have your Key Contact submit a case in Partner Community.
How many exam voucher codes can I receive as a Salesforce partner?
Salesforce partners are eligible to receive voucher codes based on their program and tier. In FY24, you will receive the highest voucher code amount based on tiers you achieved across all tracks in which you are enrolled. For example, if you are a Summit AppExchange partner and a Ridge Cloud Reseller partner, you will be eligible for 20 voucher codes.

What happens if I advance to a higher tier during the year?
Partners who advance to a higher tier during the year are eligible to receive additional vouchers to correspond to their new tier. For example, if you start the year as a Base tier Consulting partner, you are eligible for 3 voucher codes. If you advance to the Crest tier as a Consulting Partner during the year, you are eligible to receive an additional 7 voucher codes (for a total of 10 vouchers).
What certification exams can be purchased with these vouchers?
For FY24, we’re excited to announce the addition of the Accredited Professional credential exams (APs) to our voucher benefit in addition to Trailhead certification exams.
Trailhead vouchers can be used for any level Trailhead certification exam (excludes Certified Technical Architect fee). This includes any $200, $400 and $100 retake exam types. Accredited Professional (AP) vouchers can be used for any AP exam. For more information about AP exams visit the Accredited Professional Guide.
Can I use the voucher for Trailhead certifications and for Accredited Professional credentials interchangeably?
No. Vouchers issued for Trailhead certifications cannot be used for Accredited Professional credentials and (you guessed it) Accredited Professional vouchers cannot be used for Trailhead certifications. Additionally, these voucher codes cannot be used for MuleSoft or Tableau exams that are not part of the Trailhead or Accredited Professional programs.
Can I exchange my voucher codes for a different type of exam?
No. Once you have requested your voucher codes, you will not be able to exchange them for a different exam type. So if you request Trailhead vouchers, you will not be able to exchange those codes for AP vouchers at a later date. The same goes for the reverse, you cannot exchange your AP voucher codes for Trailhead codes.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel my exam?

When do these vouchers expire?
The expiration date is dependent on the type of voucher code you receive.
For Trailhead vouchers, partners have until February 29th, 2024 to request this benefit. Once the benefit is redeemed, partners have until April 30, 2024, to use the vouchers. The certification exam must be registered for and taken before May 1, 2024. The FY24 voucher codes will not work for exams scheduled on or after May 1, 2024. Any unused voucher codes will expire on May 1, 2024.
For AP vouchers, partners have until February 29th, 2024 to request this benefit. Once the benefit is redeemed, partners have until March 1st, 2024, to use the vouchers. The certification exam must be registered for and taken before March 1st, 2024. The FY24 voucher codes will not work for exams scheduled on or after March 1st, 2024. Can the expiration date of my vouchers be extended?
No. The expiration date of your voucher codes cannot be extended. Exams cannot be scheduled for a date on or after the May 1st expiration date for Trailhead vouchers or the March 1st expiration date for AP vouchers, so be sure to plan ahead!
